B9099, Stanley to Luncarty - Carriageway Patching Works
Perth & Kinross Council intends to carry out carriageway patching on the B9099, Perth Road. This work is required to be undertaken prior to surface dressing works planned later this year over the same extents. The patching works are programmed to start on Friday 01 May and will take approximately 7 working days to complete, weather permitting.
The works will be carried out under temporary traffic lights with a 10mph convoy system during working hours. The works are planned to be carried out on weekdays with no weekend working planned. However, temporary traffic lights will remain in place overnight and during the weekend for site safety.
Unfortunately, there will be delays when travelling through the work site, however, we will endeavour to keep this to a minimum. When works are being carried out directly outside properties, vehicular access will be limited to when the works allow, and it is safe to do so. This is due to the depth of the excavated carriageway and the laying of the hot material by machinery. If access is required during these times, please expect some delays.
Pedestrian and emergency service vehicle access will always be maintained and on waste collection days, please present your bin as usual.
Regrettably, there will be inconvenience and disruption whilst the works are taking place, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you in advance for your co-operation. If you require any further information or have any queries, please contact Cameron Kirby on 01738 475000.
